Cuts for him at LCM SS17: 4 looks in 4 days

I find it interesting that a lot of Londoners do not know about London Collections Men (LCM). I have lost count on the amount of times i receive a blank stare whenever I mention LCM to people. I am like, where have you been? But of course, not everyone is into fashion right.

Just in case you are reading this and do not know what LCM is all about, it is a bi-annual event (January and June) where everything pertaining to men’s fashion is exhibited through runway or presentation. Designers and fashion houses showcase their best designs for the coming season so that buyers (wholesale) have the privilege of product live before putting in orders. It is also a great opportunity for press houses and bloggers to document and share with their readership and followers. One thing i have personally benefited from LCM is networking. Such an event is the best way to meet people with similar interests.

The truth is I was a bit reluctant to attend this season which meant i applied for my press pass very late. Thanks to a great contact at the British Fashion Council, i was able to get accredited last minute.com.  Judging from the interest nationally and international, LCM is only going to get bigger and better. I was privileged to attend some of this seasons coolest runways, presentations and socials. I have picked out about 4 events that i will be writing about over the next few weeks.

For now, i have put together a few photos showing the looks i had on during four days of LCM SS17.

Day 1

Day 1 look could have easily been my favourite purely down to the fact that I did not know what I was doing as I was in a mad rush lol. I only realised the look fit when i stepped out of the flat.

Day 2

After experimenting on day 1, I thought I come with a smart look on day 2. First time i have actually wore this windowpane suit so it is still getting used to my body form. I will be doing a full piece on it soon.

Day 3

This look could easily fit into my Sunday best series. In fact I went to church that morning before heading over the LCM.

Day 4

Day 4 was the last day for LCM and as you may notice in the photos, i was tired. This look was all about dressing down my navy suit. I went a bit rebellious with this suit as i have always worn it with a tie and shirt.
