I had the pleasure of working with one of my favourite streetwear brands about two months ago. This brand had been on my radar since January during LCM AW16. The truth is, I should have done a collaboration with them back then but time did not permit. So allow me to introduce you to Labrum.
Labrum is a modern menswear brand founded by a gentleman called Foday Dumbuya in 2014. It is a London based brand with all the pedigree and influence of this modern city. The name or should i say the word Labrum is Latin for edge.
When the opportunity came to work with Labrum, I couldn’t decide what collection to do which lead me to grab a few bits from both their AW16 and SS17 collections. As you can see from the photos, the pieces I picked are all amazing.

“Labrum’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection takes its inspiration from the spirit of the postmodernism movement; defined by an attitude of skepticism toward grand narratives, stepping away from the influence of international style and encouraging the use of elements from historical vernacular style”.
This collection is truly beautiful and functional at the same time. The overcoats are a must have for the coming season. If next season is too far off to get your hands on some of those overcoats, I encourage you not to despair. Head over to the Labrum website right now to see the beautiful AW16 (current season) pieces.

Would love to hear your thoughts on these pieces in the comment section below.
