Cuts for him – Budapest in Picture

Budapest is one of those European cities that is sure to leave a lasting impression on your mind once you visit. The sumptuous traditional cuisine known as Goulash, welcoming hot baths, historic architecture, and its unique chain bridge are a few things amongst many that will leave you wanting for more. Budapest is the capital of Hungary. It is divided into two half by the Danube river with Buda on one side and Pest on the other. This great city is said to attract over 4 million tourists a year from all over the world. With its extensive world heritage sites, you can see why so many people visit this city.

St. Stephen’s Basilica, the largest church in Budapest

I would be doing this beautiful city a disservice if I should even attempt to do a detail write up about it. So for this reason, here is Budapest in pictures.

The Great Synagogue. This is the biggest Synagogue in Europe and second biggest in the world

The Hilton hotel lobby where we stayed for our trip. Perfect location to explore the whole of historic sites in Buda. Literally walking distance to all sites in the Buda region

Apart from the places listed above, there are many more to see in Budapest. Due to time constrains, we couldn’t visit these places but would highly recommend you check it out. Some of these places include:

  • The famous baths
  • Memento Park
  • Hungarian state Opera house
  • Hungarian national museum
  • Central market hall
