I had a late night last night doing some photo editing till 4am and was woken up this morning by a knock on my bedroom door. A voice shouted out, don’t forget to buy the drinks for tomorrow. That was my cousin “shoutingly” reminding me of something I must have agreed to do. I rolled over to check the time on my phone. It was almost 11am. What was I thinking staying in bed this late I said underneath my breath? I’m going to lay here until I am good and ready before getting out of bed. Not before long, my nostrils were overwhelmed by the smell of food coming from the neighbours. For a minute I thought to myself why would anyone be cooking dinner this time of the day. Ahhh but of course its Christmas eve, the biggest festive time of the year is well and truly underway. Preparations for the big feast has started.
Without further ado, let me wish you all a Merry Christmas. I pray you all have a wonderful time with your friends and family. Most of you would probably read this article after Christmas but I trust it will still be relevant.
Apart from wishing you all a Merry Christmas, the purpose of this article is to share with you my most recent styling work. I basically bought two tuxedos from Marks and Spencer to style myself and my model sister for a Christmas photo shoot. The idea was to get my sister to wear a similar suit to mine, a man’s suit. After a couple of hours of nipping and pinning and sowing, I finally got the tux to fit her perfectly.
As I type this article, I wish I had put it out much earlier. Who knows, it may have inspired someone’s office party look. Not withstanding, a tuxedo is not just for the festive seasons. There are many occasions one can don a tux.
I will do a separate article in January 2017 exploring the sophistication of the tux. I will also give you details as to how I got my sister to wear one so it seemed like it was tailor made from scratch for her. For now, here are a few photos from the shoot. A special video was also shot which I hope you would like. Let me know your thoughts either on the video on YouTube of in the comment section on this article.

Incredible and beautifully done. Love the video too. Very well captured and you made the suit fit her to perfection. Very done. You should be proud.
