Classic meets Future Timepiece | Kronaby watch review | Cuts for Him

Rabindranath Tagore once said “Let your life lightly dance on the edges of Time like dew on the tip of a leaf”. I don’t know the context in which Rabindranath Tagore used the above phrase or why I am even using it here. I just know that it sounds cool and it might make me sound intelligent lol.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, lets get on with the real reason I am writing this piece. One of the best investment a man could make on accessories or Jewellery is to buy a watch. Honestly, it is a worthy investment when you get the right one. I have never been one for smart watches as I prefer to keep my time pieces accurately functional whilst aestically true to form. This means no added “fluff”. It always annoys me when watch makers try to get to gimmicky with a timepiece.

Kronaby on the other hand has all but destroyed my preconceived idea of how a watch should be. I used to think of smart watches as looking all shiny and futuristic with no heritage  or integrety in them. Kronaby has managed to create a hybrid that even hardcore classic timepiece fans like myself couldn’t resist.

One of the things I like about the brand is the fact that it has managed to create timepieces which preserved the heritage of classic watches but also invest in the digital future.

The minute I laid hangs on the black dial metal bracelet Apex, I was wowed by how cool and yet functionally desirable it features are. This bad boy was configured with motion and durability in mind.

The auto timezone makes sure you are never always on time by automatically adjusting itself to reflect the local time. Whats also cool for fitness enthusiasts like myself is that Kronaby sends a gentle reminder that I have been inactive for a while. I mean how cool is that? However, my favourite feature has to be the Filtered Notification. With this function, I can actually choose to be notified for specific things if I am busy or wants to be left alone. The accuracy is just beautiful from who’s call will come through to the social media notification you want to receive and the one you want to filter. Brilliant.
