Love your skin, love Elemis | Cuts for Him review

Coming off the back of my last grooming post, I feel like I am on a roll here. However, I must admit to bringing you this article way later than anticipated.

So back in early October, I had the privilege of being treated to a facial at Elemis’s in-store exchange at John Lewis, Oxford street. Honestly, I have never been so excited about my skin after I got the treatment in a very long time. Within a matter of minutes, I saw my skin being transformed completely. Ok if I sound as if I am completely sold on this product. Having said all that, you must be wondering why it took me this long to Continue reading Love your skin, love Elemis | Cuts for Him review

RW Wolf – Grooming for the modern man

It was an absolute pleasure to witness the opening of the new RW Wolf barber branch in Cockfosters, London. The journey from west London where I live was a bit of a treck with the downpour of rain but once I got in, I felt at home. From the warm greetings from the manager to the amazing customer service by my barber all contributed to me having a memorable experience.

RW Wolf brings you a Turkish barber experience in a high end, quirky environment. With graffiti leather upholstered furniture. Some of the services they provide include but not limited to:

I am absolutely delighted to formally announce to you all that I will be hosting the second annual Fashion Industry Insiders event on the 20th of September. But of course if you follow me on instagram, you would have seen me post about it many times.

What does Fashion Industry Insiders stand for you may ask. Fashion Industry Insiders is a fashion and lifestyle accelerator that aims to empower, educate and equip the next generation of fashion influencers in creative and innovative ways. The objective is to grow sustainable, value driven businesses and personalities that will tell a story of success and transformational change within the fashion industry and beyond. It is a brand I started two and half years ago.

Last year, Fashion Industry Insiders hosted over 150 guests at the prestigious Chelsea Harbor hotel. Out of the 150 guests who attended our event and was covered by bloggers and YouTubers reaching an estimated 110,000 online audience.

The theme for this year is ‘Fashion as an art form’ where we explore the intricate connection between fashion and forms of art such as music, photography and more. we aim to host about 250 guests and reach at least 500,000 online audience through our affiliate media partners during and after the live event.

From an amazing pret-a-potter fashion show, to the hearing from industry experts during the interactive panel, the event will be packed full of exciting things. On the night, there will be live music performances with our headline artist being the amazing and sensational Ciinderalla B. There will be drinks and light refreshment too. I mean why should anyone miss this event?

LFWM Grooming trend with Gillette | Cuts for Him

London Fashion Week Men’s AW18 has been one of the highlights of the past 6 months for me. Unfortunately, I always leave applying for my press pass for the 11th hour and get stressed on the first day trying to get it printed. But apart from the press pass debacle, I am very pleased with how AW18 turned out. As a stylist and influencer, it was a pleasure to see the likes of Vogue, Esquire, GQ and many more featuring me as one of the best-dressed men of the season. However, the one thing that made all the effort of getting up on a Saturday and Sunday morning to head out in the cold was the chance to hang out and catch up with fellow bloggers. Some of these bloggers live outside London and so the only opportunity to see them is during London Fashion Week Men’s. Between catching up with old friends and making new ones, LFWM is the perfect place and time to spot trends or even be part of trendsetting where street style is concerned.

LFWM AW18 – The Strand

The main trend I noticed this season is based on grooming. Specifically, hair and facial grooming. As someone who’s personal signature look is around my hairstyle and facial hair, Continue reading LFWM Grooming trend with Gillette | Cuts for Him
