The Japanese in London | Anzu restaurant review | Cuts for Him

Apparently, the month of August is counted as summer in London. I guess the weather has other ideas. Well at least for the first two week of August anyway.

I was determined not to allow the gloomy weather to ruin my experience at the new Japanese restaurant called Anzu in St Jame’s market. I wanted to share the experience with my girlfriend whom I invited to join me as she is a foodie too. We got off Piccadilly circus tube station which is the nearest tube station to Anzu. In fact Anzu is less than five minute walk from the station (depending on how fast you walk) which makes it perfect for public transport links.

St Jame’s Market official opening | Cuts for Him

London turned out to be great last week with the beautiful summer weather and great vibe that came with it. As you can imagine, I spent most of my time outdoors catching up with friends over a drink or two. However, the absolute highlight of the week was the grand opening of St Jame’s Market in central London.

I was chuffed to bits when I received an invite to the grand opening but was a bit taken aback when I looked up the location. The area which is now the market used to be heavily boarded up the last few times I was in that vicinity.
