London Fashion Week Men’s Day 2 | Runway on the streets

I have dubbed this piece Runway on the streets as the level of sartorial style was incredible during the AW19 season. East London was awash with brilliance from Londoners.

I am also pleased to share with you my outfit which got me featured in several world-class magazines such as Evening standard magazine, Esquire, GQ and more.

From London to Paris, when creatives connect | Cuts for Him

I really have to be honest here and say Paris has never before appealed to me like it does for so many people. I like the city and its food and architecture but something always seems to be missing. I simply can’t lay a finger on why I feel that way. I have been to Paris so many times that I have lost count but just kept having the feeling of not enjoying it as I should. I joked the last time I was there that for some bizarre reason, every time I go to Paris, something unexpected happens that ruins my trip.

So when I told my blogger friend Lamich Kirabo that I was visiting Paris, she was absolutely sure I would love it this time around. Not the least because we were planning a collaboration.

A bit about Lamich

Lamich was born and raised in Uganda and created her platform called Third Local in 2015. According to Lamich, she recognized a gap in the African market which fails to provides  Continue reading From London to Paris, when creatives connect | Cuts for Him

Paris Fashion Week SS18 in picture | Cuts for Him

I have never been to Paris Fashion Week before and now that I have been, the question on my mind is why have I not been before.

Paris and London have always had the sibling rivalry which goes back for centuries. As a Londoner myself, I automatically default to siding with London whenever there is a lighthearted banter about the two cities.

However, if fashion weeks are anything to go by then I can honestly say that Paris got this one. Paris fashion week is bigger, bolder, longer and have more big fashion houses than London. But anyway, I better shut up and allow you guys to enjoy the photos.

Let me know your thoughts. Please do not forget to subscribe to this blog and also follow me on social media Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Thanks for stopping by.

Cultured in Culture | Government wharf, Freetown

Cultured in Culture, or The Crowd – My people, or Standing out “with” the crowd or so many other titles I could have given this post looking at the photos my sister took of me on holiday in Freetown.

The idea to do this shoot was borne out of a strong desire to capture Freetown or even the people in a way that is very unassuming and unrehearsed. I had no desire to take photos at the plush side of town whether along the peninsular where you will find some of the most beautiful beaches in the world or indeed on the beautiful hills to the west of town. Government Wharf itself has a long and interesting history but I won’t go into it now. Partly because I do not know much of the history but yeah lets just leave that along shall we lol. So I will leave that to the history buffs out there to dissect.

Big market, Freetown

Now where was I? oh yeah the reason for shooting at the Wharf. I personally think the Wharf represent the true hustle and bustle of Freetown in a way very few places do. It shows a people with unique individual stories that come together for a common purpose. The purpose of buying or to selling, rendering a service or solicit one, to see or to be seen. To chisel Continue reading Cultured in Culture | Government wharf, Freetown
