Luxury meets Style | DoubleTree by Hilton, Cape Town | Cuts for Him

If you have been checking out my Instagram account over the past couple of weeks then you would have seen that Cape Town was an absolute blast. There were so many things to see and do that we simply couldn’t do them all given the time we had. So it was a tossup between South Africa and Japan for this getaway. I am so happy I went to Cape Town again as Tokyo was at some point a strong favorite. I have not been to Japan before which made it a strong contender but, Cape Town pulled me right back and I am happy I went. Had a great time with friends and made new ones. What could be better eh?

As a fashion and travel content creative, there is one thing that might not be obvious to anyone looking in. Inspiration is so key to everything I do and where I lodge is the bedrock of that. Hilton Double Tree, Cape Town is truly the place to be for any creative or traveling blogger. I couldn’t even overstate (even if I try) how inspired I felt the minute I walked into this hotel. From the décor to the amazing views of the mountain, there was so Continue reading Luxury meets Style | DoubleTree by Hilton, Cape Town | Cuts for Him

Tel Aviv, an oasis in the desert | Cuts for Him Review

If you follow Cuts for Him on Instagram, then you would have noticed that I have been doing quite a bit of travelling especially in the past few months. Unfortunately, I have not been blogging about my travels as frequently as I should. However, be assured that I will write articles about all those places I have visited to tell you about my experiences.

So in the month of June, I was blessed to be invited to what I would describe as one of the best weddings I have ever been to. This was a wedding between a great friend of mine Cyril and his beautiful wife Shahar which took place in Tel Aviv. The wedding itself deserve a separate article of its own so I won’t go into much details here. I promise I will do a post on it as it was my very first Jewish wedding.

We left London on the 13th of June for Tel Aviv on board an overnight BA flight from  Heathrow airport. Having the privilege of flying business class (courtesy of the girlfriend) gave my flying experience a whole new meaning. Loved every bit of it. It was my very first time to fly business class Continue reading Tel Aviv, an oasis in the desert | Cuts for Him Review

To Jump or not to Jump – A matter of faith

Every now and then I like to blog about things other than fashion and this is one of those times. I know I know you all came here to read about how I put my outfits together but I need you all to lend me your eyes and your minds for five minutes so I can talk you about the importance of believing in yourself and having faith

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love” ! Corinthians 13:13 – There you have it, love wins all the time, but allow me to talk a bit about faith today.

As you guys know I have recently visited Croatia, specifically I went to Dubrovnik. You have to visit Dubrovnik to get a full idea of just how beautiful it really is. When you get there, and I really urge you to go there, the best place to get a bird’s eye view of the historic old town and its surroundings is at the top of the Srd hill (it’s a mountain, clearly me and the Croatians define things differently) . I kid you not when I say the views are breathtaking. On one side of Continue reading To Jump or not to Jump – A matter of faith

Late post alert! Late post alert! Late post alert!

I really need to up my game when it comes to sharing new articles. I seem to be at least a couple of weeks late these days. I’ll just blame it on my great work ethics in other areas.. side eye!

Anyway, here is another super quick post for all you travel buffs out there.

I went to Venice last month for a long weekend and i fell in love with this city. I have heard and read so many things about it but nothing prepared me for what i discovered. Then again, thats the magic of travelling. No matter what others tell you about a place, you can only fully appreciate it when you see it yourself. Continue reading Venice – Bride of the sea
